FRIENDSHIP GARDEN
Across from Asheville Catholic School is the Friendship Garden/Jardín de la Amistad. People from the Parish, School, and elsewhere worked together to take a vacant lot and turn it into a beautiful garden. Vegetables are given to Catholic Charites and others in need. A Peace Pole Ceremony was held to bless the garden and all who come here.
With all this rain we’ve had an abundance of growth. The flowers are blooming and the veggies are turning!
